Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has announced a full-fledged protest against the worsening condition of water scarcity in the metropolis, Samaa reported.
MQM’s protest movement will commence from Power House Chowrangi, situated in the North Karachi area of the city, and then widen its radius.
Water scarcity has worsened in Baldia Town, Orangi Town, North Karachi, Malir, Korangi and other areas of the city.
Minister of Local Government Sharjeel Memon announced free water tanker service in the affected areas, but the problem has worsened since then.
