The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) suspended mobile and internet services in parts of Balochistan.
According to a statement, this measure aims to maintain regional law and order due to security concerns as directed by relevant authorities.
In a recent tragic event, a railway station bombing in Quetta resulted in 26 fatalities and over 40 injuries, impacting women and children. Commissioner Quetta, Hamza Shafqaat, reported that the explosion occurred at 8:25 AM on Saturday, November 9, during the departure of Jaffar Express, which coincided with a high presence of passengers at the station. Authorities noted that Chaman Passenger and Jaffar Express passengers were on the platform at the time of the blast.

In response to the incident, train services at Quetta were suspended but resumed after a four-day halt. Pakistan Railways (PR) announced that the Quetta railway station would not operate from November 11 to November 14 following the incident.
Aamir Baloch, CEO of Pakistan Railways, confirmed that train services from Quetta to other parts of Pakistan have resumed after receiving security clearance. He noted that Jaffar Express resumed its service this morning, and Bolan Mail will depart as scheduled.
