NEW YORK, United States: Taylor Townsend and Katerina Siniakova completed a career Grand Slam together by beating Ashlyn Krueger and Robin Montgomery 5-7, 6-0, 6-2 in the US Open women’s doubles final Friday.
The top-seeded American-Czech pair recovered after losing the opening set at Arthur Ashe Stadium, taking the second 6-0 in 24 minutes before closing out the deciding set 6-2.
Townsend and Siniakova had won Wimbledon together in 2024 and the Australian Open in 2025. They added the French Open title in 2026 before securing the one major trophy they still lacked as a team at Flushing Meadows.

— wta (@WTA) September 11, 2026They had reached the US Open final in 2025 but lost to Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe in straight sets. Siniakova thanked Townsend during the on-court ceremony and said the pair had been “really fighting for this one.”

Townsend also praised Krueger and Montgomery, who reached the final as an unseeded wildcard team, and thanked fans for supporting doubles throughout the tournament.
Townsend dedicated the victory to her daughter, A.J., after securing the pair’s fourth different Grand Slam women’s doubles title.
