Mexico hit by 5.4-magnitude quake: USGS

A 5.4-magnitude earthquake rattled southeastern Mexico on Saturday, seismologists said.

The quake was centered in the state of Veracruz, 47 kilometers (29 miles) southeast of Sayula de Aleman, the US Geological Survey said.
