Police shifted three Gullan Bharo murder suspects from Rohri to Sukkur on Saturday for further investigation into her alleged honour killing, officials said.
Sinhd Police said the arrested suspects include Gullan Bharo’s father, husband and maternal uncle.
The investigation now rests with the investigation officer at A-Section Police Station, according to the police.
Police said the nominated suspect, Younus Bharo, described by officials as an influential wadera, remains absconding. Officials said police teams have launched raids to arrest Younus Bharo.

Police said Gullan Bharo’s father and uncle submitted surety documents to the court on April 20, before the court handed her over to her family.
Investigators said Gullan Bharo died nearly 10 days after she returned to her family’s custody.
Police said she had earlier fled domestic violence and approached officials near Rohri Railway Station for protection and shelter at a Darul Aman.

During court proceedings, Gullan Bharo reportedly told the court she feared her family would kill her if officials sent her home.
Police said she later agreed to return with her family after her father appealed to her in the name of family honour. Authorities said the investigation continues, and police expect further arrests.
