The Metro bus service has finally resumed between Islamabad and Rawalpindi four days after it was suspended due to protest in Islamabad.
Mobile phone services have also been restored in the Red Zone where protesters had staged their sit-in.
Repair work has also been started at the Metro stations, which were ransacked by the protesters.
The participants of protest sit-in at D-Chowk in the Red Zone of the capital city dispersed as a result of successful negotiations with the government.
The leaders of the sit-in announced the end of their protest and asked the participants to peacefully leave for their homes on yesterday.
