The funeral prayers of six people killed in the Model Town melee were offered late yesterday night.
Addressing the participants of funeral prayers, the founder of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri announced that, “three-day mourning would be observed in commemoration of the PAT’s ‘martyrs’ and Fateha khwani will be held on Friday.”
Commenting on his future course of action in connection with the reaction of killings of the PAT’s workers, Dr. Qadri said, “We do not believe in cowardly reaction. Our reaction and vengeance will be nothing but a green revolution.”
