Banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has been fractured as a faction of militants has announced formation of a new group Jamaatul Ahrar.
Qasim Omar Khorasani is the leader of the new faction of Taliban militants.
The Taliban of Orakzai Agency, Bajaur, Mohmand and Khyber tribal regions and Ahrar-ul-Hind will join the new group of the militants, sources said.
The emir of Jamaatul Ahrar, Omar Qasim Khorasani has urged all factions of Tehreek-i-Taliban to join the new group of Taliban.
