Former PPP senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar claimed that former army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa helped PDM in the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan.
Khokhar claimed in the interview with a private Tv Channel, Geo News’s program, Naya Pakistan, that no-confidence evidence is emerging.
While commenting on Bajwa’s extension law in National Assembly in PTI’s tenure, stating it was done in 12 minutes and the establishment extended it.
Khokhar claimed that the establishment has a major role in bringing together all factions of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
He stated Punjab CM Parvez Elahi was told to join PTI. Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari retracted his Asma Jahangir Conference statement because of the immense pressure from the establishment on the PPP leadership.
“No ordinary person could have installed cameras during the Senate no-confidence vote.” Therefore, the mechanism to make Yusuf Raza Gilani the opposition leader was wrong.
Khokhar left PPP a month after resigning as a senator amid policy disputes with the party leadership.
Khokhar was PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-spokesperson; he resigned as a senator on November 10 and vowed to maintain his “independence.”
The party disapproved of his political stance; thus, he quit. Nevertheless, Khokhar criticized the regime and restrained himself from April’s state minister appointment.
In November tweets, Khokhar stated a top party leader told him the leadership “wasn’t happy with my political positions and requested my resignation from the Senate. I willingly agreed to quit […] will submit my resignation tomorrow, Insha[A]llah,” Bilawal’s former spokesman said.
