Karachi police foiled a major terror bid when it impounded an explosive-rigged motorcycle in Baldia Town area of the city on Wednesday.
SSP West Irfan Baloch said the police defused a five-kg bomb that was affixed in a motorcycle. The bike was parked in a vacant plot, he said.
In a separate raid, he said the police arrested three terrorists from the city’s Manghopir area.
He said that arrested men belonged to a banned outfit and were wanted in several incidents of crime.
