Actor and singer Jennifer Lopez praised Brett Goldstein’s chemistry in Netflix’s “Office Romance.” This came as renewed speculation followed their promotional appearance at the 2026 Netflix Upfront event in New York.
Lopez told People that her on-screen chemistry with actor and writer Brett Goldstein developed naturally during filming. Meanwhile, Goldstein said the rom-com role was written with Lopez in mind.
The pair star in “Office Romance,” a Netflix romantic comedy directed by Ol Parker and co-written by Goldstein and Joe Kelly. Additionally, Netflix says the film will premiere globally on June 5, 2026.
Lopez plays Jackie Cruz, a high-powered chief executive. Goldstein plays Daniel Blanchflower, a new employee whose workplace relationship with her becomes complicated, according to Netflix’s official film summary.
Online chatter intensified after Lopez and Goldstein appeared playful and close during a recent promotion for the film. Furthermore, anonymous production sources also claimed a warm dynamic on set.
