Actor Jennifer Aniston was photographed filming season five of “The Morning Show” in downtown Los Angeles. She is returning as veteran news anchor Alex Levy.
The 56-year-old appeared on set in a neutral-toned outfit. It featured a tan coat, matching sweater, black pencil skirt and slingback heels.
Her lighter honey-blonde hairstyle drew attention during filming. Aniston wore her shoulder-length hair straight with a side part while shooting scenes with a brunette co-star.
“The Morning Show” debuted on Apple TV+ in 2019 and remains one of the streaming platform’s flagship dramas.
The series stars Aniston alongside Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Julianna Margulies and Jon Hamm.
Apple TV+ renewed the show for a fifth season in September before the fourth season premiered.
Apple TV+ programming head Matt Cherniss previously called the series “a standout from the very start.” He praised its cast and creative team.
The fourth season moves the story into spring 2024 and follows the aftermath of the fictional UBA-NBN merger.
The official synopsis says the newsroom faces “newfound responsibility, hidden motives and the elusive nature of truth in a polarised America.”
Aniston’s role as Alex Levy has marked one of her major dramatic television performances after her long-running association with “Friends.”
