A delegation of the Jamaat-e-Islami has called on prime minister Nawaz Sharif and advised the government not to accept the resignations of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf MNAs in Islamabad today.
JI Secretary General Liaquat Baloch, who headed the delegation, insisted that acceptance of resignations will worsen the country’s political situation.
The meeting came on a day when PTI MNAs are due to present before the speaker National Assembly later today to verify their resignation individually
