Islamabad: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said on Thursday disclosed that the federal government has decided not to revise existing prices of various petroleum products.
Talking to media before Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting of the Cabinet, Dar said that a proposal of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority to revise prices has been rejected.
He said that prices of various petroleum products would remain unchanged in May.
OGRA proposed to increase per liter price of kerosene oil by Rs2.11, light diesel Rs3.38, high-octane blending content (HOBC) by Rs9.43.
It had also proposed to a downward revision in the prices of petrol and diesel by Rs1 and Rs1.06 per liter respectively
