Imran Khan predicts two new records are poised to enter the Guinness Book of World Records. The first record will document a political reversal, with the slogan “Vote to Izzat Du” supplanted by emphasising military respect.

The shift highlights the complexities of political manoeuvring in Pakistan, where Nawaz Sharif ultimately faced defeat despite critical strategies involving multiple influential figures.

Imran Khan shared these insights during a press interaction at Adiala Jail. He outlined the potential end of his government and political career post-May 9 unless a judicial commission investigates the day’s events. He emphasized his openness to negotiations, stating discussions would occur only with decision-capable parties.

“There will be an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records that Nawaz Sharif played with all four umpires on his side, yet still lost against me.”

Further, Khan expressed pride in his potential nomination for Chancellor of Oxford University, citing it as an honour for Pakistan. He reflected on his unique contributions to Pakistan’s cricket and philanthropic sectors, including founding two hospitals, two universities, and another university currently under development.

Nawaz Sharif has taken the biggest U-turn, which will be recorded in the Guinness World Records. The U-turn is from ‘Vote ko izzat du’ to ‘Boot ko izzat du,’ says Imran Khan.

The second record will detail how Nawaz Sharif’s reliance on democratic slogans clashed with his criticisms of military interventions. This theme is echoed by other politicians like Khawaja Asif and Ahsan Iqbal, who have been vocal about military influence in governance. This record encapsulates the ongoing political dialogue in Pakistan, emphasizing the need for transparency and reforms to ensure fair electoral processes and a truly independent judiciary.
