The PTI core committee, under the chairmanship of Imran Khan met today and “condemned” the government’s total failure to protect its citizens and critical installations from terrorist attacks. “It was a complete security and intel failure,” the statement said, adding that “lessons from the Mehran base incident were not learnt”.
PTI chief Imran Khan had earlier criticized the government’s failure to provide security to citizens.
His statement had come on Twitter in relation to the attack on the airport.
The core committee also condemned the TTP for the attack on Karachi airport,” a press release issued by the party said.
