Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday reinstated Chaudhry Abdul Rashid as Chairman Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra), a year after he was removed from the office over allegations of irregularities.
The PEMRA chief had challenged his dismissal in the LHC where Justice Noor-ul-Haq Qureshi issued his verdict today, restoring Chaudhry Abdul Rashid as head of the regulatory body.
The PEMRA chairman was appointed in January 2013.
