Former Chief Minister of Punjab Hamza Shahbaz has voiced his disagreement with the choice made by the Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, to dissolve the assemblies of both Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The PTI head has decided to dissolve the two assemblies, and Hamza’s comments came shortly after he made this decision. Imran Khan stated that the assemblies would be dissolved on the 23rd of December.
In a statement released on Saturday, the leader of the PML-N said that it is unacceptable for the PTI to decide to dissolve the two assemblies for the sake of a single individual. He solemnly swore that the government coalition would respond to the PTI’s decision to dissolve assemblies in a lawful, constitutional, and political manner.
He concluded that “any decision Imran Khan makes would be answered politically, constitutionally, and legally.”
He stated that the party currently in power, the PML-N, was prepared to have general elections but that they would not submit to the arrogance of Imran Khan.
“Dissolving assemblies is not a game,” he said, adding that Imran Niazi had been on a mission to destabilize Pakistan politically and economically for the past few months. He claimed that this mission had been going on for several months.
Additionally, he stated that Imran Khan had unsuccessfully attempted to cover up his incompetence by making false claims against organizations and the heads of such institutions.
