The government has removed IG Sindh Police, Iqbal Mehmood, from his office, barely three months after his appointment for the high-level post, on Thursday.
According to sources, Ghulam Hyder Jamali has been assigned the charge of acting IG Sindh, whereas Iqbal Mehmood’s services were transferred back to the federal government.
