After the first round, PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi told the media that the government will respond today while government committee member and PML-N senior leader Ahsan Iqbal said that “dialogues are a positive indication as the country’s situation does not allow politics of confrontation while vowing to come up with a solution which is acceptable for all”.
It must be noted that the ruling PML-N formed a dialogue committee to hold talks with the protesting PTI which included Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions Lieutenant General (r) Abdul Qadir Baloch and Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar.
