General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff, earlier today cancelled his scheduled visit to Sri Lanka owing to operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan, Samaa reports.
Sources said that Gen Sharif was scheduled to leave for Sril Lanka today on a four-day visit. However, he cancelled his visit due to full-scale military operation in the restive tribal area launched on Sunday.
