Musk, however, offered a sarcastic comment on Zuckerberg’s post, writing, “May he continue to have fun on his yachts. I prefer to work.” This comment suggests a divergence in priorities between the two tech leaders, highlighting Musk’s focus on work over leisure.
While drawing praise for its carefree spirit, Zuckerberg’s Wakeboarding video contrasts sharply with past criticisms of his watersports outings, where his casual appearance once sparked mockery. Despite this, the video aligns with Zuckerberg’s efforts to rebrand himself as more adventurous.
The rivalry between Musk and Zuckerberg isn’t new. It has been evident since a SpaceX rocket explosion destroyed a Facebook satellite in 2016 and has extended into debates over artificial intelligence and data collection practices.
