Internationally renowned social worker and philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi on Saturday rejected reports of his illness as baseless.
A member of the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) while talking to the media said that Edhi was not admitted in hospital and was doing fine, adding that a press release in this regard would be issued today.
Edhi said that “conspirators were constantly hatching plans” against him and also spreading reports of him being admitted to a hospital which were patently false.
Edhi is currently occupied with his philanthropic work in his head office.
He requested the public to not to pay heed to such unfounded claims adding that forwarding such claims was unethical.
It was been speculated on the media over the last few days that the world renowned 86-year-old philanthropist was admitted to an Intensive Care Unit, and later passed away.
