Dr Manzoor Memon, a medico- legal officer (MLO) at Jinnah Hospital, was gunned down along with his driver in Karachi’s Delhi Colony area which is close to Clifton. One of the poshest areas in the city.
Memon was on his way home from the hospital when four unidentified men on two motorcycles fired at his car, killing him and his driver, Aashiq Ali.
The bodies have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
Police and Rangers have reached the site of the incident for further investigations.
Only a few weeks back, Dehli Colony was the target of a bomb blast that led to multiple casualties.
