CNG stations in Sindh including Karachi will remain close on Saturday as well during current week.
Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has rescheduled the suspension of gas supply to CNG stations adding yet another closure day, thereby extending CNG closure to three days instead of the two days it had earlier agreed on.
According to the new schedule the CNG stations will remain close on Saturday August 9 for 24 hours. The suspension will begin at 8:00 A.M.
SSGC spokesman informed that scheduled has been revised due to lowering pressure of gas from the gas fields.
Chairman of CNG Association in Karachi Shabbir Suleman severely criticized this ad hoc measure and said that three days closure of CNG stations will create a negative impact on business activities and public transport, while ambulance service will also experience difficulties.
