The former Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari met US senator John McCain earlier today in LA and said that Pakistan was committed to rooting out terrorism.
In his meeting with the American senator, Asif Zardari said that Pakistani soldiers were sacrificing their lives. Zardari also said that Pakistan was affected by the menace of terrorism and that the whole nation was committed in rooting out terrorism completely.
Both McCain and Zardari agreed that democracy in Pakistan should be allowed to grow and thrive. Zardari was also of the view that relations between Pakistan and the United States must further be strengthened.
