Islamabad: Former President and Co-Chairperson of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday left for Afghanistan on a brief visit to the neighbouring country.
Zardari is accompanied by former Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and Vice President of PPP Sherry Rehman.
He will meet Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and other senior officials during his visit in which matters of mutual interest and regional cooperation would be discussed.
