Apple rolled out iOS 18.3 earlier this week, just over a month after the debut of iOS 18.2. Now, details are emerging about the much-anticipated iOS 18.4 update.

The iOS 18.4 update will enrich Apple’s ecosystem with new Apple Intelligence features and an eagerly awaited enhancement to Siri. iPhone enthusiasts can also look forward to new emojis and expanded language support for Apple’s AI-powered tools.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his latest Power On newsletter, the iOS 18.4 update is anticipated to be a substantial release by April. It will feature a revamped version of Siri, which Apple has been promoting since last year.

Gurman suggests that Siri will undergo significant enhancements, enabling it to access personal data directly from the user’s phone to provide contextual answers. This spring, Siri is set to become more integrated, analyzing emails, messages, photos, calendar events, files, and more to personalize responses.

Additionally, the update is expected to improve voice control over the operating system with enhanced App Intents software, allowing for more precise commands.

The iOS 18.4 update is rumoured to introduce an array of new emojis, including a fingerprint, a face with bags under the eyes, a harp, a root vegetable, a leafless tree, and splatter emojis, adding fun and expressive options for users.

In terms of language support, Apple Intelligence will expand its capabilities to include multiple new languages such as Chinese, English (India), English (Singapore), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and Vietnamese, ensuring a broader user engagement across the globe.

With these updates, iOS 18.4 is shaping up to be an exciting next step for iPhone users. It aims to enhance their interaction with the device’s AI features and overall user experience.
