Karachi: At least three Rangers personnel were killed when gunmen opened fire on their vehicle in Karachi’s Baldia Town area on Friday.
Another Rangers’ soldier was injured in the attack, which took place in Ittehad Town area of the Baldia neighbourhood.
According to a Geo News correspondent, two vehicles of the Rangers personnel were posted for security duty outside Madina Masjid in Ittehad Town shortly before Friday prayers when the attackers riding motorcycles opened fire on them.
Initial reports suggested that the number of attackers was between two to three.
The Injured personnel were shifted to a hospital for emergency treatment.
