A soldier committed suicide inside the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Museum during duty time, police said earlier yesterday.
The Sharea Faisal police said that soldier Wasim Ahmed, 35, in a uniform ended his life by hanging himself from a tree with a rope on late Saturday night inside the PAF museum, where he was posted for security duty.
He did not leave any suicide note and therefore the reason for his act could not be ascertained immediately, the police added.
The deceased hailed from Hazara, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
