Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz senior leader, Rana Sanaullah took oath as Law Minister of Punjab.
Governor Punjab Rafique Rajwana administered the oath to Rana Sanaullah who regained his portfolio after having been cleared in 2014 Model Town incident in which more than a dozen supporters of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) were killed by police.
The then law minister, Rana Sanaullah, known as the de facto chief minister, justified the police action as legal. However, he was removed from office by Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif.
In the swearing in ceremony, Dr. Aisha Ghaus Pasha took oath as provincial Finance Minister, as Shahbaz Sharif expanded his cabinet.
