NIB bank is currently evaluating the feasibility of pursuing a transaction for possible divestment of its equity stake in PICIC Asset Management Company Limited (AMC).
In a filing with the Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) on Wednesday, the bank said that NIB had received interest from a few parties in potentially acquiring the bank’s equity stake in the wholly owned subsidiary.
“Any such disinvestment transaction, if recommended to be undertaken by the management of the bank, will be subject to approval of the board of the bank and all necessary regulatory approvals including approvals from SBP and SECP.
