Internet services to Pakistan suspended due to a fault in one of the major submarine cables connecting Pakistan.
According to sources told that fault occured in the cable ‘SEAMEWE4′ off Karachi coast, the location of the fault has been identified; however efforts to fix the fault are taking more than the expected time.
Sources also added that users all over the country are facing slow speeds including 2G, 3G and 4G users.
Pakistan biggest internet service provider the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has also confirmed the fault and issued a public advisory notice about the low bandwidth and to shift connectivity to other cables to avoid any obstruction in country’s demand for connectivity.
