Former Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar Tuesday formally announced that he has joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Addressing a ceremony at Marriott Hotel in Islamabad, Sarwar said he has joined PTI to break status quo in the country.
Praising the PTI chairman, he said that no one could either challenge the credibility of Imran Khan or can level allegation against him for being involved in any kind of corruption.
“At the time when there is a lot of corruption in the country, we are very fortunate that we have a leader like Imran Khan who talks about change,” he said.
“I was leveled as a member of PTI even before my resignation as Punjab governor, because I was against corruption,” Sarwar added.
