Heavy fog hit major parts of Punjab on Saturday morning and considerably reducing the visibility that badly affected traffic.
According to details, commuters on National Highway in Lahore are facing problems due to low visibility. visibility has been reduced considerably from Lahore to Pindi Bhattian and Kala Shah Kaku to Kharian along with Motorway and National Highway due to dense fog. .
Motorway police have advised that citizens should avoid unnecessary traveling and use fog lights. Reports of road incidents have also been received in fog-blanketed areas
Other cities of Punjab including Pattoki, Okara, Sahiwal are also engulfed by fog, while visibility level in Chiniot and adjoining areas has reduced to 10 meters.
Visibility in Mian Channu was also reduced to zero.
