Unidentified armed men raided the Karachi residence of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui, a Pakistani doctor currently imprisoned in US, in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area late yesterday night and tortured the watchman.
According to the family, three unidentified men reached the residence at around 3:00 a.m and tied the watchman with ropes. They tortured him to get important information about the routine of Dr Aafia’s children Mariam and Ahmed.
The assailants also forced the watchman to provide them information about Dr Fauzia, sister of Dr Aafia and other family members.
The family came to know about the incident in the morning and rushed the watchman to hospital.
