Pakistan will not receive more than $1 billion aid from the United States under the Coalition Support Fund (CSF) according to the new conditions set by the US Congress.
Pakistan receives aid from the US under the CSF for its support in the war against terrorism. The aid is released in four installments.
Congress has also stripped the US Defence Secretary of the authority of issuing the loans and the official will have to ensure Congressional approval before releasing the fund.
