In an encounter with CID Karachi, TTP Ameer of Ittehad Town has been gunned down in Musharraf Colony, whereas one associate managed to flee.
According to the CID, the Taliban commander opened fire when accosted. He was seriously injured during retaliatory fire. The militant was taken to Civil Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
SP CID Mazhar Mashwani said that that the militant was involved in serious crimes including the bombing in Abbas Town.
