Hundreds of ecstatic workers of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) welcomed their leader Tahir-ul-Qadri at Minhaj ul Quran International (MQI) Secretariat in Model Town, Lahore today evening.
Large numbers of women and children were also among the elated crowd gathered at the MQI Secretariat to greet Qadri.
Earlier, accompanied by Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and former chief minister Pervaiz Elahi, he visited Jinnah Hospital to meet his injured workers.
Speaking to media persons at the hospital, Qadri said, “he would take avenge of June 17 deadly police raid at his residence and central office in Model Town by bringing about a peaceful green revolution.”
“I have first come to hospital to see my workers. The Model Town tragedy is the worst example of state-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan, he added.
