Qari Hashim has been detained under the maintenance of public order.
Hashim accused of Daniel Pearl murder was acquitted by anti-terrorism court in Hyderabad yesterday.
I.G. Jails Nusrat Hussain Mangan talking to media at Nara Jail in Hyderabad said that the government of Sindh has ordered detention of Qari Hashim for 90 days under the MPO.
He further added that 85 dangerous prisoners have been imprisoned in Central Jail Hyderabad. He said that Karachi Central Jail tunnel incident being investigated and scores of suspects have been arrested.
He said the security has been on high alert in Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur jails after the jail break bid in Karachi.
