Unidentified armed men threw hand grenades at the residence of a Sinch High Court judge as well as a police station separately, early morning today.
Police said at least two gunmen on a motorbike hurled a grenade at the Mominabad Police Station and managed to flee. No casualties were reported, however, the boundary wall of the police station was partially damaged.
Separately, a grenade was hurled at the DHA Phase 5 residence of SHC judge Justice Nazir Akbar, however, the grenade did not blow up.
Meanwhile, police arrested three alleged criminals during a search operation at the Preedy area.
A child who was kidnapped from Sharafi Goth was recovered when police raided a hideout and arrested four alleged kidnappers at Quaidabad.
