On the second day of the third Test match against England, Shan Masood of Pakistan was dismissed for 26 runs, leading to Pakistan’s fourth wicket loss of 99 runs.

The crucial series-deciding game is taking place at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Pakistan resumed the day at 73-2 in response to England’s first innings total of 267.

Following England’s dismissal for 267, Pakistan’s top order struggled, losing three wickets on the first day of this pivotal match in Rawalpindi.

England’s Shoaib Bashir dismissed Abdullah Shafique for 14 in the ninth over, Jack Leach took out Saim Ayub at 19 in the twelfth, and Gus Atkinson removed Kamran Ghulam for just 3 runs.

However, Captain Shan Masood and Saud Shakeel, both at 16, stabilized Pakistan’s faltering lineup by the end of day one, with the score at 73/3.

The three-Test series stands evenly poised at 1-1.

Jamie Smith and Ben Duckett earlier scored 89 and 52, respectively, though the majority of England’s primary batters struggled with the spinning ball.

Pakistan’s spinners, Sajid Khan and Noman Ali, dominated England’s batting, claiming six and three wickets, respectively. Zahid Mahmood also took one wicket.

Following the departure of Captain Ben Stokes for 12, Jamie Smith led a revival with a vital 89 runs from 119 balls, supported by Atkinson’s 39 from 71. Zahid Mahmood dismissed Smith in the 62nd over, and Atkinson was caught and bowled by Noman.
