Rawalpindi: While hearing an appeal a sessions court has allowed Bahria Town to use the brand name ‘Bahria’ .
Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Ashraf heard the arguments by Bahria Town’s lawyer Ilyas Sheikh. The counsel for Bahria Town said that the civil judge did not even listen to his arguments and therefore, civil court’s orders should be suspended and Bahria Town’s case should be heard.

Session court suspending the order by civil court allowed Bahria Town to use the brand ‘Bahria’. The judge also issued notices to both sides seeking a response on April 19.
Earlier a civil court directed the management of Bahria Town to refrain from using ‘Bahria’ in its name as Bahria Foundation had filed the petition in Rawalpindi Civil Court to prevent Bahria Town from using this title.
