Islamabad: The Senate has strongly condemned the statements of the Indian leaders and categorically voiced that any kind of foreign aggression will be responded in a befitting manner.
Taking part in the discussion regarding the statements of Indian prime minister and the ministers against Pakistan, the members said that the whole nation will stand side by side the security forces of Pakistan to foil the nefarious designs of the enemies.
They said that the statement of Indian prime minister at Dhaka University that disintegration of Pakistan in 1971 was a part of the Indian vision is highly condemnable. They said that India is afraid of Pakistan’s strategic position in the region and improving relations with the neighbouring countries.
They said that Pakistan’s relations with the neighbouring countries including China, Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan and Russia are attaining the new heights that are itching India. The members said that the India was a big country with a small heart and the statements of the Indian leaders are shameful and against all the international norms.
The members demanded that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should write letter to the SAARC because the statements of the Indian leaders are against the SAARC Charter. They said that the Pakistan is a peaceful country and nuclear power. They said that we want to live in peace with the neighbouring countries but no one will be allowed to interfere in the internal matter of the country.
