Lahore: A search operation was conducted in Punjab on Wednesday for the recovery of barrister Owais Ali Shah, the kidnapped son of Sindh High Court’s Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah.
The search operation was conducted by Punjab police to recover Owais Ali Shah. I.G. Punjab said that for the recovery of Owais Ali Shah, Punjab police was in contact with Sindh police and were working with them.
Owais Ali Shah was kidnapped from Karachi’s posh Clifton area from a supermarket. Following his kidnapping, security agencies of the country sprang into action to recover the missing son of the Chief Justice of Sindh High Court. In the same week, famous qawwal Amjad Sabri had also been shot to death in the city’s Liaquatabad area.
So far, no major breakthrough has been made in the kidnapping case of Owais Ali Shah. On Tuesday, Sindh I.G. A.D.Khawaja had claimed that the law enforcement agencies were close to arresting the kidnappers of Owais Ali Shah.
