Minister for Information & Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rashid Saturday mockingly congratulated Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan that the Supreme Court of Pakistan rejected all the pleas demanding annulment of last year’s polls.
On Saturday, the apex court issued a detailed judgment regarding dismissal of petitions seeking declaration of the entire elections of 2013 as null and void.
Rashid talking to media said sarcastically said “The SC verdict is a New Year gift for Khan Sahib,”
Rashid also advised Khan and said “The PTI chief is too busy protesting to carefully read the detailed verdict of the court,”
He further asked the cricketer-turned-politician to take a course of action in the light of law of the land as these matters were not resolved by staging sit-in on the streets.
