Road accident kills ASWJ chief’s son in law

Son in law of Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) Chairman Ahmed Ludhianvi was killed in a road accident at Pir Mahal area of Lahore earlier today.

According to sources, Mohammad Tariq was returning from a wedding function when his car crashed into a wall at Rajana Samandari Road. He was killed on the spot.

Several people including his wife Tayyaba, three year old Hassan, five year old Hussain, Aasia Bibi, Musarrat Bibi and Shahid Iqbal were also injured in the accident.

Rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the wounded to District Headquarters Hospital where they are being treated for their injuries.

Ahmed Ludhianvi along with a large number of ASWJ activists arrived at the hospital after being informed of the road mishap.

No foul play is suspected.
