Following a show of strength in Abbottabad yesterday, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri’s Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) is geared to stage a sit-in in Haripur today.
In yesterday’s mass rally, Dr. Qadri rubbished several objections leveled against his decision to end Islamabad sit-in, saying he called off his over two-month long ‘dharna’ to turn it into a countrywide movement.
The PAT chief said that he will would a rally in Bhakkar on November 23, announcing to call off his Inqilab movement in case the Bhakkar rally failed to attract masses like the one seen at Minar-e-Pakistan recently.
Announcing his back-to-back public rallies in different cities, Qadri said that he would hold show in Sargodha on December 5, Sialkot December 14, Mansehra December 21 and in Karachi on December 25.
