QILA SAIFULLAH: Security sources reported that forces killed an alleged commander of the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, Adil Shah, during an intelligence-based operation in Qila Saifullah on Sunday. State-run Radio Pakistan identified Shah by his alias, Darvesh.

State-run Radio Pakistan carried the account and identified Shah as Darvesh. Security sources said he belonged to the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
Pakistan uses the term “Fitna-al-Khawarij” for the group. They alleged Shah joined the organisation in December 2020. He has managed its finances since 2024.
Shah also arranged permanent accommodation for foreign militants in Zhob, Sherani and Shaban, the sources claimed. They linked him to attacks on security forces and kidnappings for ransom since 2022.
