Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) local leader Chaudhary Nisar was killed in drive-by shooting in the federal capital on Friday.
According to police, gunmen on motorbikes ambushed Chaudhary Nisar at Sitara Markat in G-7 Sector.
PTI leader Chaudhry Nisar shot dead in Islamabad. The deceased was a hotel owner.
Shortly after the targeted killing of PTI leaders, traders and shopkeepers held a protest in Islamabad.
“We will shut down Islamabad if police fail to arrest Nisar’s killers within 36 hours,” Ajmal Baloch, Chairman of Traders Association,
Police shifted the deceased’s body to hospital for medico legal formalities.
